Jonathan Takyi Mensah, known as C-Tea Beat, is a multitalented music producer, singer/songwriter and vocal melody writer.
He was raised by his Grandparent and mother in a small town in Ghana. C-Tea’s journey began in Ghana, but it eventually led me to South Africa, where he pursued a certificate in IT.
Following that, he decided to explore his passion for music and enrolled in Digital Music Production at Emendy Multimedia and Technology Institute in 2012
C-Tea Beat’s time in South Africa was transformative as it marked the start of his music career.
He began honing his skills in music production and also discovered a fascination for photography, capturing moments at events where he both hosted and performed his music.
During this period, C-Tea had the privilege of working with and learning from renowned producers, dj’s and artists in the country
His musical repertoire is diverse, blending genres such as afro beat, house music, R&B, hip hop, and afro pop.
Over the years, C-Tea Beat had the honour of contributing his production talents to notable artists, including Grammy award winner Black Coffee, Patoranking, Sarkodie, Davido, Orezi, UnaRams, Thabsie, Dj Sbu, Alikiba, Falz, Dj Mic Smith, Dj Speedsta, and Diamond Platinum, among others.
As an independent record producer, C-Tea aspire to secure a contract with a prestigious record label.
C-Tea Beat's journey came full circle when he returned to Ghana, where he embarked on a new challenge.
C-Tea co-founded a producer company with friends, aimed at nurturing, educating, and providing publishing services for up-and-coming producers in Ghana.

Ghana Music Awards - South Africa, 2018: Awarded Producer of the Year.
2022 I became the first music producer to produce and record at the Chateau de Bagnolet and the Vineyard as part of Hennessy's rich history.
Founder of The Cloud Audio: Established a producer company based in Ghana that exclusively signs and manages producers.
SoundCity MVP Awards, 2019: Nominated for "Jama" by DJ Mic Smith ft. Patoranking x Shaker, in categories including Song of the Year, Listener's Choice, and Best Collaboration.
Emendy Multimedia and Technology Institute, 2018: Recognized with an Endorsement Plaque and a place on their Wall of Fame.
2023 Contributed 70% of Patoranking's "World Best" Album and played a significant role in Kuamie Eugene's "Love & Chaos" Album
Composed music for the films "Single" and "Not Searching."
​C-Tea Beat’s future plans include working with renowned international artists, with the goal of collaborating with talents like Chris Brown.
He also aspire to establish a music school in Ghana to nurture the next generation of musicians. Furthermore, C-Tea aims to venture into Dj and release my own music.
